Dr. Robert Clemons graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1994 with a Bachelor of Science degree and began his medical training at the James H. Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee in 1994.  After graduating in 1998 he traveled to the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences to study in the department of Dermatology.  He was selected for the Alpha Omega Alpha medical honor society while in his Internship year.  He was elected to chief resident during his final year of residency in 2002 and was also elected to president of the resident council that year.  Following his training in Dermatology, Dr. Clemons returned home to Johnson City to begin practice at Tri-Cities Skin and Cancer where he is in practice today.

He has particular interest in pediatric skin conditions and contact dermatitis and is on adjuvant faculty in the department of pediatrics at the Quillen College of Medicine.
