Position Summary
Responsibilities are to greet and escort the patient to the exam room, document the chief complaint, obtain a present and past medical history along with a current list of medications and allergies. Will also assist provider in the exam room and act as scribe documenting the provider’s findings in the EMR syst
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares the patient for examination and procedures
- Obtains all necessary supplies and equipment
- Gathers vitals as needed
- Provides privacy, education, and instructions for procedures performed
- Prepares and labels biopsy specimens
- Cleans exam room for next patient
