Chelsea Herald is a native of East Tennessee and graduated from ETSU with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry and Mathematics. She also graduated with a Master of Education in Secondary Education from ETSU.

During her brief career as a high school teacher, she found her true passion in medicine. She completed her medical training at Milligan College (now University), where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2020 as part of their inaugural class, and served as president of their student government association.

She joined the staff of Tri-Cities Skin & Cancer in 2023. Previously, she worked in the hospitalist service at Greeneville Community Hospital (Laughlin) where she still works as needed and has gained further experience at several other hospitals and skilled nursing facilities in the area. Ms. Herald also intermittently serves as adjunct faculty for Milligan University’s PA program.

In addition to being NCCPA certified, she is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Tennessee Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. She is currently pursuing a Diplomate Fellowship in Dermatology through the SDPA.

Ms. Herald was trained in Dermatology by the Physician Staff of Tri-Cities Skin & Cancer.

In her free time, she enjoys being with friends and family, baking, and completing any DIY projects she can find.
