What does the Sofwave treatment feel like?
As the ultrasound energy is delivered, patients may feel warmness of the skin. Most patients report experiencing a minimal amount of a pain. Discomfort can be managed by applying a topical anesthetic cream prior to treatment. Following treatment, there are no sensations and there is no need to apply special care to the skin. Patient may resume their daily care immediately post treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
Most patients need only one treatment. However, they may benefit from an additional treatment depending on the patient. Your aesthetic provider will discuss this with you.
When should I expect to see results?
Results are visible as soon as 1-week following treatment. Maximum benefit is expected to be achieved over a 3-month period.
