Mohs Histology Technician
A great opportunity to join the area’s top dermatology practice. Tri-Cities Skin & Cancer seeks an experienced Full-time Mohs Histology Technician.
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Process, embed, freeze, cut and stain tissue specimens for evaluation by Mohs Surgeon in a timely manner during Mohs procedure
 - Assist Surgeon during Mohs surgery
 - Collect and document patient information, clinical lab data and other relevant details accurately and timely while ensuring patient privacy
 - Respond quickly to care questions or concerns and resolve
 - Maintain and apply infection control standards
 - Operate and maintain clinical equipment according to equipment guidelines
 
Qualified individual will have experience embedding and cryosectioning, be detail oriented and able to work independently. HT certification is a plus but not required.

Medical Receptionist/Patient Coordinator
Key Responsibilities
- 
Answer incoming phone calls promptly and professionally, directing calls to the appropriate departments or personnel as needed.
 - 
Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments according to provider availability and office protocols.
 - 
Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information in the practice management system.
 - 
Provide accurate information regarding office policies, procedures, and services.
 - 
Handle messages and patient requests efficiently, ensuring timely follow-up and communication with clinical staff.
 - 
Document all patient interactions clearly and accurately within the electronic health record (EHR) system.
 - 
Assist with appointment reminders, cancellations, and no-show tracking.
 - 
Collaborate with team members to optimize scheduling efficiency and minimize patient wait times.
 - 
Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA guidelines at all times.
 - 
Support front desk and administrative operations as needed.
